Initially we planned to see cherry blossom ‘Sakura’ at Wuhan University, but there was drizzling in the morning and our plan cancelled. The usual six with Alan, Kumar & Jonathan went for brunch, we have the Chinese burger which is my favourite and we shared 2 bowls of dumpling. Then, we a group of 14 people meet 12noon for shopping spree…
We take the public bus to Hankou, which the place where amusement park held. The shopping mall is considered an international plaza. So, the goods were quite expensive and we can just effort to walk around and see, then we end up buying nothing. After lunch for Mr. Chong and the rest we meet up n went for next mall; SOGO.
Around 5 we had our lunch at the basement of SOGO and take our early dinner, because we need to rush the early bus before the bridge get jam. We tried few different food like duck rice & china prata, we spend quite a lot at the food court cause the food wasn’t cheap. Wow, on our way back, the bus is super crowded. Jeremy and Kumar were very excited with their new skills; blocking and squeezing with the local Chinese…
We take another stop after the rest while they’re going back to school and we were heading to ‘Jian Er’ Mall because Ian & Alan need a sport shoes for next day hiking.
We bought China famous sport’s brand shoes - 3610. I bought a pair of sneaker cost me RMB120, is about SGD30. After shop we need to rush back for a birthday party; its one of the local student named Kidd. Xin Hui was the event planner and we were part of the supporters, the party held in one of the classroom.
At the birthday party the pity birthday boy get smash by his birthday cake…and they start playing cream war. We have K session & dancing session, everyone enjoys and has fun including the entire local student. In this particular event, we have interacted more with them by having group dancing and make fun with each and everyone. Some of them even wish to exchange their skills, like they want Jeremy to teach them ‘Break Dance’.
The event end around 10 plus in the evening, and we went to the provision shop to prepare some food supply for weekend’s hiking. We bought isotonic drinks, biscuits and chocolates. Then, we went back dorm and start packing…I went to bed early because I need to store energy for hiking.
