Day 9
Today Mr.Chong continues the yesterday lecture and he show us another movie titled “An Inconvenient Truth”.

Then in the afternoon we went for the IS module taught by Xiao Ling. Today’s lecture is about China’s History & Culture. Then I learn how china’s name comes from??? It means central city or central state. Next she talked about 2 splendid projects of China in ancient period. One is ‘The Grand Canal’ and the other is ‘The Great Wall’. I know why great wall is build for, its to protect the inner land of china from nomads (Xiongnu) attacks, and I know Qin Shi Huang is the one who join all the walls together so that today China has a chance to be proud of their great wall.
Next, the grand canal which also named as ‘Jing Hang Da Yun He’ (Beijing-hangzhou Gand Canal). It’s the largest ancient canal and artificial river.

Besides, she also told us about the 4 Great Inventions. 1st was compass. It’s invented in the Spring & Autumn period. 2nd was gunpowder. This great invention was happen in the 9th century. Next was paper. Paper was invented in Eastern Han Dynasty. Then painting was invented. It happened in Northern Song Dynasty.

Our IS 4 hour lesson end at 5pm, and we went out for dinner. My day is end with stomach full of gas and I still burping. I hate sick!!! I miss mummy….

Day 10

Today we continue the ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ which we stop half way.

Afternoon, we went for 4 hours IS module again and it’s the continuing of China’s History.
My summary for today is “Today is an UNEVENTFUL day”.

Today is an uneventful day. We have brunch in the school canteen before lesson start and I have ‘Egg Noodle’, after eating we walk to our class and continue Mr.Chong’s lecture. Today’s lecture is about characteristic of water, during the break he play movies to relax us and we enjoy that a lot. Its one of my favourite movie “Step Up 2”. After lesson we went back our dorm and take some rest before having dinner.

Tonight we ate dinner with Mr. Chong again and we have ‘Zha Jiang Mian’ as dinner. Then we have dessert at the back alley, I take some ginger juice to help me from suffering with the wind in my stomach. Then we say nite nite!!!

My Bad day!

This morning was my bad day, I have a light diarrhea so it makes me tired…Fortunately, morning tutorial class cancelled and the afternoon lesson postpone until 3pm. Thus I have time to take some rest. So today’s blog may be a little bored because Velverie has no energy to take any photo…

Dinner I refuse to stay in the room alone, so I follow them out but I ate only a little bit of food and my stomach reaction started again…SAD SAD.

I can just define my day as ‘TIRED’. We went Wuhan’s amusement park, they called it “Zhong San Hua Yuan”. It took us around 45 minutes to reach there, and because of the people in the bus is squeezing all the way and with the driver’s driving skills I’m falling all the way right and left. The park is big and it’s a good place for family day. Today is weekend, I saw lot of family bring their child to have fun and enjoy their happy day.

1st thing I tried in the park is the Roller Coaster. Its 150m long and 24m high, it cost us RMB25 for a ride. Its quite expensive, but we still willing to try. Its quite fun! Next it’s my beloved ride and I love it the most in the park. It’s a game which turns 360 degree and in high speed(the washing machine), I take to ride for that. It’s a kind of experience like you got enclosed in a tiny space and people turn you up side down. I can only comment it with WOW! I keep on leaving my seat when I’m in the cabin, luckily I have our rap- Hardy sitting beside me and he filled most of the space, so actually I didn’t have that vigorously turn like my friend- Shan Mei. She cried after the ride….Haha. That’s why skinny is kind of a disadvantage.

After we leave amusement park, we went for dinner. We have a buffet steamboat, it cost us RMB38 per person and because today is 8 of March (Women’s Day) so all the women in the restaurant get 10% discount. I paid RMB34 for dinner. The food it’s not really nice but I enjoy having dinner with new friend- Kumaran, he is a funny Indian guy in our CBE group, he entertain me a lot during my dinner and the journey back to our dorm.

Then, we take a public bus back. This is my 1st time chasing a public bus in a busy road, people standing beside the road looking at us like they’re watching running competition. It’s fun to have this try chasing a bus with group of friends. Then we take another 40 minutes ride back to our dorm again, and we end the day with Good Night!
