End of Study! I'm free...

Presentation Day! The day of freedom starts!!!
After every group has finished their turn to present, the 2 hour presentation end with a last photo taken in the classroom 506.

Then we have our lunch and went back dorm to do some last edit on the report and hand it over to Mr. Chong. Our plan for today was celebrate birthday for Alan and play as much as we can.

Alan’s birthday surprise was the birthday cake and his favorite VIP pool in Shopping Mall. I bet he love it a lot. Then, we went for overnight karaoke and ton until next morning…

My Darling(Shan Mei)'s Birthday!

Today was an uneventful day, morning we attended Mr.Chong’s one hour briefing for tomorrow presentation and other information. After that 1 hour, we went lunch and back to dorm and work on our project.

The whole afternoon we spent time on slides and report, around 6.45pm we prepared to attend a English Corner session organized by the local’s students. The event started at 7.30pm and last for three hours, initially we have a birthday celebration for Shan Mei and we end up in the room interacting with the locals. It’s actually a nice experience to know them more, by the way I’ve few new friends named Chai Rong, Lin Dan and Li Yin. They are all nice and sweet girls, and we invited them to chit chat overnight before the day we return to Singapore.

After the event, me and Jin Quan rush to the flower shop to collect Shan Mei’s birthday surprise. We end up celebrated in the room and have our dinner in the dorm. Party ended with everyone working hard on projects again. When the clock ticks 12, there’s another birthday boy, Alan. They gave him a birthday surprise with a argue sketch.

Some of us slept very late and some didn’t even have their sleep. Do wish tomorrow presentation would be a success!

Today we have a Leadership Training Camp! I experience a lot of new things that I have never tried before in my pass few years’ life. Early in the morning we departed from dorm and take an hour bus ride to the WUST Zhong Nan campus, which another group of NP students lived there.

1st thing we did for today was grouping and some bonding games. First game was the tank railing- this was a game which tested our team’s cooperation. We end up lose because of the building of the rail is not sable enough to fit so many people, 1st part of the day ended with lunch time. We ate the famous fish ball which recommended by the ECE students who live there, we ordered few dishes and it didn’t cost us a lot.

Afternoon session was the most excited part of the day; I tried ‘Trust Falling’ for the first time in my life. You have to lean backward and fall from a plank with 1.5m high.The purpose for the game is to trust your team mates and be responsible to take care of your team mates. While playing this we did very well and everyone of us successful fulfill the requirements.

Next was the ‘Break Bridge in The Air’; we have to jump over the break bridge at the height of 8m above the ground. Initially it’s not scary because I though it was just climb up the ladder and just jump over to another side, but when I nearly miss my step I realize it isn’t that easy, you must really be focus and do it with effort. I end up with mission complete!

Lastly was the ‘Rock Climbing’. I can never found my chance to try this when I’m in Malaysia, so just make full used of this opportunity and tried it. When I’m still at the bottom my legs started to freeze and numb, I just can’t feel anything, but I still try to overcome the numbness and went up! I ended up half of the wall and I miss my step to climb forward so I steep down. Its super fun and I like this most.

I ended my day with 100% of satisfaction. I tried new things, I know new friends and the bonding between my friends and I become closer as I can say. After dinner we relax and play majong inside the dorm. When the clock reach 12am sharp and it’s my best friend’s birthday! We gave her a simple blowing candle ceremony and I continue my blog and rest, I’ve totally exhausted for extreme sports for the day.

~Lu Lin Resort~

Our 4stars in Lu Lin...(Nicer than i expect)

Early in the morning we start our journey to ‘Lu Lin Resort’. The bus ride took us 4 hours to reach there; before we reach I slept all the way to ‘Lu Lin’. I’m so exhausted of skipping my beauty sleep for 1 night.

We have our lunch in the ‘Lu Lin Restaurant’, after lunch we check in to the room and start our Lu Lin tour. 1st tourist site we went to ‘Mei Ren Gu’, the stream is long and along the road you can see flowers with beautiful colors. I can finally found Waterfall here in China during my Wuhan Trip, I’m so happy to see the water falling down from the stone and beating the river to form natural orchestra. The environment was so peace and free from pollution, I love this place a lot.

Next stop we went to try the hanging bridge in the village and its fun to step on the bridge and you can have the swinging experience over the river. Something that shock me was I saw big pig running around in the village freely and it’s just like dogs running around in Singapore but the difference was it’s a pig. I was told the locals there were quite rich, but their house was jus build up with woods and bricks. How can they be rich then? The answer was they grown their own mushroom and sell it. They use dead tree bark and pack into packets and put them on racks to grow mushroom.

After dinner, they have a welcoming party at the open area just beside our resort. They have campfire and interesting performance shown by few Burmese. Then we dance and sing throughout the whole night. We truly enjoy it!

Night we one of us is tired and we went back room to have a nice shower and rest.

Next morning, after we have our breakfast we started our 1st site for the day to Lu Lin Zai, it’s a place of the warriors Wang Feng and Wang Guan they build their army and palace here. We climb mountain again, 1st stop – Qu Yi Feng. Form there we can clearly saw the sleeping Buddha lying on the mountain. Then the tour guide shows us their precious stone in the mountain, they also have the longest vein in the world in the same mountain, they said if we hug the vein and you’ll get long life. I might take it as real!!! Then continue with the ‘eternal love’, it’s the living vein coiling the dead tree, and they said this shows the love in depth of the dead ones and the living ones…

Then we went to the fighting ground on top of the mountain, its magnificent up there, you can see the whole sceneries of Lu Lin and the ground is covered with brown grass but colorful flowers. We took photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery, and then we stop for lunch and continue it after lunch.

We took an hour ride to reach the last and the most meaningful site – the ‘Kong San’ cave.
They have a lot of stalactite and stalagmite to form difference shape and they used their imagination to figure out what the stones represent. They were normal lime stone but they can form different music note, do you believe that? The music stone were classified as one of the world’s wonder. There was 2 ways to exist and the tour guide wants us to choose either ‘Long life’ or ‘Happiness’. I choose happiness! I wish to be happy for all my life rather than suffer in the long life. The route I choose was not easy to pass through because wanted to have happiness isn’t an easy way.

Our cave trip ended with a spiral 200 plus stairs step. Then, we went back Wuhan with the 4 hours ride again.

1st Birthday Party in Wuhan!

So bored for today, after test and we still need to finish our tutorials before have fun. Our plans for the day was shop, shop and shop, we took a bus ride for 45mins to reach Han Zhen Street, there were a lot of shops selling clothes, accessories and shoes. Everything there was cheap but I’m not sure whether it’s good…

We stayed there for an hour and finally the so called 3 girls (Ying, Mei & me) found out nothing interest us in this street, so we decided to change our location to Bu Xin Street. This was the place where we have our 1 day trip last week, we found the clothes and accessories are more preferable to us. They have what we want and what we wish to have. We shop clothes and I bought dress, top & jacket, I spend quite a lot here!!!

After shopping we went for dinner before return to dorm and have our early party for 2 birthday boy. Initially it should be on 4th of April but we wanted to surprise them in the midnight where the time reaches sharp 12am. We customized the cakes and tried to make it looks funny; when everything was fully prepared we call them into our room and started to sing birthday’s song and guess what the cake for them was not the want which we customized. We hold cupcake for them as birthday cake, once the song had finished 2 cakes flew onto their face and the cream war started. lol.

When party ended everyone started to snore in their own room…

Big Day…
Today was the day for Birthday Boy! Afternoon we went out for shopping in Jiang Han Street. We found nothing again; I really don’t understand why every time shopping I can’t found something special for me and my family???

Later we change location again to Computer City (Dian Nao Chen). Today wasn’t a good day to shop because all of us bought nothing!
Basically today must be focus on the Birthday Party. After we came back from Computer City we have our dinner first then collect the cakes which we had ordered since one week ago. We cooked red eye and buy some finger food for the party, everything goes well on plan, the party held in our room and Hardy want everyone to dress up for the special day but none of the girls bother to change, except the guys…

Wow, 1st time I saw them dress up and look quite smart I could say. Party started around 10pm in Room 219. We start the party with birthday songs and cut cake ceremony, followed by strip dance show but 2 birthday’s boys was too shy in front of 15 of us, so they change their birthday couple T inside bathroom. Then, we shared cakes, birthday speech and chit chat for the 1st part of our party, next we invite them to sing their favorite songs as a performance.

The most important part of the day, Present Hunting! Ian & I hide the present and want them to found it themselves before 12midnight or else there goes their present. The last game goes very well until the last lock! Ian Lim spoilt the lock and none of us can open it. Fortunately we were able to get the present from the cupboard at last.

Party ended with group photos and spamming photos session…
Tonight I never sleep and play majong with the entire mad guys over the night.
