Xiao Ling's last lecture.

Mr. Chong’s lesson start at 10.30am and it only last for 45mins. After lunch, we went for the last IS lesson, and this was the last lesson with Xiao Ling; I’ll miss her. Today, she suggests us to visit the University of Wuhan and experience the blooming period of Cherry Blossom, since we can’t see these in Singapore or Penang.

After 4 hours lesson, we head ourselves to ‘Jian She 7 street’ for night shopping. It’s just kind like night market and its definitely cheaper than Singapore, but the things sold is not really our cup of tea! Fortunately, I still have some reward; I bought a Mickey long sleeve shirt.

Our dinner is a whole roasted chicken drumstick!!! Mr. Chong suggests us to have beer and two people share one bottle of ‘Snow’….its the purpose of preventing us to be heaty!

Then we walk along the street because some of them need to buy sport shoes for Saturday hiking. Eventually I found a pair of shoe which catches my attention, but in the end preventing myself from regret, I just give up and I hope I’ll get a better one tomorrow.

We took bus 511 back to WUST and my day end with a full stop.

3rd Wednesday...

I love Wednesday. It’s the only day which I can wake up late; Shan Mei’s alarm woke me up at 11am. We wash up and go for lunch before Xiao Ling’s lesson start.

This was the 2nd last lecture, so I guess everyone of us choose to respect her and no one was in their dreamland. Today I learn something about religion, Taoism and Buddhism. Four hours later we went back dorm and change for jog, I’m really a sports idiot, I can only effort 3 rounds and my muscles started make me crazy.

Dinner we went to the fake KFC again, it was Yong Qi’s idea. We went there in the usual four and six! I like this kind of interaction with friends, have dinner together and chit chat… Then I went shopping and I bought 2 t-shirt; or else I’ll be wearing the same clothes again and again….sob. Then, we go back dorm, we still have a proposal to discuss. After discussion my day ended with nite nite!!!

This morning we went for an industrial visit – Wu Gang Steel Factory. It’s a big factory because they even need internal trains to transfer their goods from an area to another which cause us stuck in the middle of the road to let the train pass. This was my 1st time seeing procedure of the making of sheet steel, I can see the red hot steel coming out from the machine and they try to pull the steel bar into sheet, lastly water is needed to splash on it to cool it down. This was a kind of experience which we can’t have neither in Singapore nor Malaysia. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take any pictures in the factory, so there are no interesting photos for steel making.

After the visit we take the factory’s bus back to WUST, and 17 of us went breakfast at a new fast food restaurant. The food is actually kind of combination of KFC and Mc Donald, I’ve bugger and fries as the others had. It was a good try, anyway my learning plan said I would like to try n adapt to new things.lol.

Somewhere around 1pm, we have lesson with Mr.chong and he tried to finish his lesson before showing us his new movie again. This time we had “Never Back Down”, it’s a show about a teenager fight for his families and friends, as Mr.chong said he want to show us some ‘martial arts’ movie before we go Wudang Moutain! Lesson ended as soon as the movie ends, we get back to dorm and others prepare to have games (Badminton) with the local students.

Around 7pm we went back alley for dinner together with Mr.Chong. Today I ate Gui Ling Gao again, haha. After dinner, I have evening run with Jin Quan & Ian…

Two rounds with Jin Quan and another two with Ian, Jasper & Alan. I must burned all the fats I gain in Wuhan before going back Singapore. lol.

Beginning of Week 3!

Beginning of week 3, its monday and we have lesson again. Morning 1hour tutorial with Mr. Chong and we finish the ‘An Inconvenient Truth’. Then we have lunch in Mc Donald, the service there is much better than Singapore. They have waitress approach us and take our order, so we don't need to take long queue.lol. Singapore should implement these kind of service, especially KAP Mc! Today Mr. Chong didn’t went out for lunch because he need to prepare our notes, so as a good student I bought him his lunch…Mc Fillet!!!

Haha, after lunch we continue Env. Tech and today Mr. Chong play new show, we watch Madagascar 2. After lesson I have my 1st PE day in Wuhan, I went running with my darlings; Li Ying and Shan Mei. Wow, I can’t imagine I can complete 5 rounds of running around the school.But Li Ying’s much fitter, she run almost 7 rounds.

After PE, we went dinner in a group and I ate Egg Noodle again. Dinner finish, go back dorm; blogging and bath before I have my beauty sleep. (Note: Sorry, no photos for such a boring day!)

Friday, we woke up early in the morning and ride the tour bus to our destination. We took 5 hours ride to reach Yi Chang, and then we have our lunch at ‘Yan Sha’ hotel. After lunch, we take another 1 hour bus to where the 3 gorges dam located. Then we change to the bus provided at the dam for tourists to tour around the places. 1st stop we went to ‘Tan Zi Ling’, they have the model of the whole dam and shop for souvenirs; and we also take quite a lot of photos over there because they have a pretty fountain. Next, we stop at ‘185 Platform’ which we can clearly see the whole dam. Then we go to the memorial garden which they try to keep all the materials and sources used to build the 3 gorges dam. Inside the garden there’s also a lot of pretty scenery and we can stand at the nearest spot to the dam.

After tour, we went back to the same hotel and have our dinner. Because of some problem in arrangement of time, we are late about 1hour to board the cruise. The name of our cruise is ‘Yin Yue Liang’, the cruise is much smaller than we expected! And the people there considered this as 4stars, so I can’t imagine about the others which were lower than 4. I share a small cabin with Li Ying, and OMG! Something crack over our head is the toilet can’t flush and there is no heater in the cabin. There’s only the bed we love most, its soft enough to make me miss my own bad at home. When the cruise started to move we can see the lights in the city light up like candles, because of we late for an hour, the cruise stuck in front of the ‘Ge Zhou’ gate for 3hours. Thus, the time for the whole journey was interrupted, and the touring time is a little bit more rush. When the gate open, all the passengers stand out to the balcony and see how the cruise move a cross it. It’s amazing; this is my 1st experience on cruise to see all these things. It’s wow.

Later, we have a cabin party in Yong Qi & Jasper’s cabin. We bought 4 bottles of beer and we play card game inside the cabin, the party ends when we go back our own and sleep. That night weather is as cold as our 1st day in Wuhan.

Next morning the tour guide wakes us up for breakfast. After breakfast we try to dress up and wait around few hours for the cruise to stop us at Badong County. Form there we took a ferry and tour around Shen Nong River (Shen Nong Xi), during the tour I experience all the mountains surrounding me on my both sides and it’s too long for me to see the ending. The natural scenery is beautiful than I expect. Mountains, river wide as sea and rural area with only few houses built on the mountains is wonderful, the tour take us about 4hours time. On our way, we saw few pretty gorges, like Longchang Gorge, Yingwu(Parrot) Gorge and Shen nong gorge. The ferry move until we reach the last stop – Shen nong jia. We experience human rolling and pulling a small boat to tour us around their villages along the river. In early time, the people used to pull the boat in naked but because of improving in time they are not naked anymore, but the pulling technique of boat using string is still used.

After the tour in Shen Nong River, we went back to the ferry and it brought us back to our cruise foe lunch. We finish our lunch and the cruise sailed and brings us to another destination, Chong Qin. We tour ‘Bai Di Cheng’ in Chong Qin, there is famous for the statue and artifacts of the 3 wars. They have hundred over steps of staircase; we need to climb up the stairs to reach the temple. At the temple I bought something special for my mummy and I hope she’ll like it. It’s a comb made of Chinese litteleaf box wood. It has the effect of antiphvretic and electoxiry relieve rheumatiuc and dampness.

After ‘Bai Di Cheng’ we go back to the cruise to have our dinner. Our last night on the cruise, we went to the top deck and see the night sky full of stars, and we chat and interact with each other. Almost midnight we went back our cabin and Goodnite! Next morning, we woke up by the announcement for breakfast. After breakfast we pack our luggage and alight the cruise to take the tour bus back to school. On the way, the bus takes an hour to drove us back to Yi Chang city and let us buy some local famous snacks and tea leaves as souvenirs. I brought 2 different local biscuit, hope it’s nice and my dear family will love it. Miss you guys…

After that we took another 4 hours ride back to Wuhan. We have some rest before having dinner…
